Michael is an artist that enjoys working with the human form while creating surrealistic images. He often uses still life as a root for the symbolism and structure for the work. The meshing of abstract and surrealism has been his main objective throughout his artistic journey, with periods of pure realism and abstract during building phases.
Michael has also enjoyed a long career in automotive design and engineering. His art has benefited from his experiences, from his introduction to design on a traditional drawing board and transitioning to CAD solids packaging and modeling, adding depth and understanding to form and function.
The acquisition and several-year renovation of the old Grindstone Methodist Church into White Church Gallery have been a work of passion. He sees this work in progress as a symbol of Divine Inspiration for him and hopefully others.
